![]() ![]() I have a Soundblaster Xi-Fi with already 5 input channels (Microphone, Microphone FP, What You Hear, Line-In, Aux, Digital-In) and I also have my on-board Real-Tek enabled for Simvibe/Buttkicker use. Please allow Rocksmith to look at more than 3 input channels/devices. ![]() and now it got recognized and the game switched back to Real Tone Cable mode. So when I went into 'system control/sound/recording' and disabled some input devices and microphone channels I don't need (by right-clicking on them and click 'disable'), and left all but three. When I went in the game and switched to Microphone it only showed 3 input devices/channels, but non of them was the Real Tone Cable. I found out about this as I did what user "broadsword" suggested in post #3 below. Update (!!! after getting it to work again !!!): Hope you can make a Hotfix for this one, as I was really looking forward to some CCR. It's one of those that came with Rocksmith 1 and was made by Hercules. So for one reason or another Rocksmith doesn't want to see my cable anymore. Maxing out the input level bar on the right. My copy says the real tone cable isn't plugged in, but I never plug it out and when I go to recording devices in windows (via the little speaker in the bottom right) than it shows that the input device 'Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter' has plenty of input volume. Some microphones are designed to pick up sound from any direction while others can only pick up sound from one particular direction. Be sure the microphone is pointing the right direction.If you’re having trouble with note detection, trying adjusting the angle and distance of the microphone itself. Different microphones have different ranges of sensitivity, so you’ll need to make sure you’re close enough for it to hear you.If the background noise is too loud, Rocksmith won’t be able to distinguish your guitar from everything else. Minimize background noise as much as you can. ![]() Notes above the 15th fret may not be accessible on some acoustic guitars.
